SFO to LHR

Back from California… back to London. Maybe it’s funny to say that but I really missed London. After all it gets a bit tiring living in a hotel (three different hotels particularly) for 24 days! However, I have to admit that my trip to Cupertino and San Francisco was a great experience for me and I am looking forward to the next time I can travel there.

I could probably write thousands of words about the places I visited, the places I ate or had a drink at, the things I did or the people I met. But since I write this post while I am at the office, I will just give you the link to the gallery I have created with some of the photos I took while being at US. And to make it more official: (lol)

There’s something in the Air

Macbook Air is much thinner than expected! much much thinner!

An amazing product that you buy because you fell in love with, no matter it’s tech specs. Anyway, don’t want to sound too biased… (I already hear Djart and Panah complaining! e mmmmmm  hehe). Anyway, San Francisco is such an interesting city in order to spend more than a couple of hours at the Expo. So I don’t have more to say apart from sharing with you my excitement about Air.

Hope to upload soon an extensive (photo)post with the rest of the interesting aspects of this city ;-)

Busy

In the last few days I have discovered the true meaning of the word busy. 19 hours of continuous work at the office is my new record! …and maybe I’ll have another record by next week! At least there is always the sweat thought of staying at San Francisco after the end of this project. Until then, I can only enjoy my king size bed at Cupertino …another new experience for me :-)

Missing the contact of many of you and the different timezone doesn’t help either in calling you at an appropriate time. Hope to catch up soon though.

A wish for 2008

I know that very few people will read this post out there, but for all of those who will do so I wish a more fascinating, funny, extrovert, less busy and happier 2008!

The year that has just finished was by far the most interesting of my (27 year old) life. I managed to get a masters degree (which automatically meant the end of an extended period of my life being a student), established London in my mind as my new hometown, made new real life and online friends, started traveling abroad (not as much as I wanted but the first big step towards this target has been made), gained my first experiences as an office employee and most importantly, got a dream job (or a job that now seems like that to me)!

I don’t know how much better than that will 2008 prove to be but things happen for the ones who are after them. So think positive or think different (maybe the values of my employer have affected the way I express my thoughts… hehe). Many long awaited things are already expected to happen during this year in the lives of close friends/relatives as well as mine. And some of them are happening faster than expected! Hope 2008 will bring to everyone only smiles and happiness. That’s all for now…

…to be continued from San Francisco :-)
