Spoon Moon Party!
While searching old (2005) photos on my laptop I found an interesting video from Georgia’s birthday party. I think it was one of the most succesfull parties while being at Patras (I was studying at Patras, Greece for the last 6 years of my life!). We even gave it a special name: Spoon Moon Party!
The video is not something special but maybe it’s the last video from the period that all of my friends were still in Patras and we were able to arrange gatherings like this one. So its value is more emotional than artistic (of course). If you recognise your face please leave a comment!!! Hehe
Anyway, I wanted to upload the video to YouTube (my first video) but I wanted to edit it first. Since I haven’t yet installed Adobe Premiere in my laptop, I thought: let’s give Windows Movie Maker a try. Although its interface is not as intuitive as Premiere’s for example, I was amazed by the capabilities a free program already installed by windows has. Obviously, it’s a completely amateur video editing software, but it offers enough functionality for fast and simple video editing with no extra need for further installations.
But enough with the words… here’s the video… TADA
True!! It was an unforgetable party!
A simple idea…..a successful outcome.
Summer season, on the roof, with the moon and many kindles…..and all your friends together…….it was amazing!
Back then we couldn’t imagine that after that summer, we all would be different. New people, new studies, new cities………
So, that party was the farewell of that period……..only! Not of our friendship!
